ADVANCED REGENERATIVE THERAPY

Peptide Therapy

Peptide Therapy

Peptides are the body's natural signaling molecules. They tell your cells to repair, regenerate, grow, and optimize. As we age, peptide production declines, and so does our ability to recover, build muscle, burn fat, and feel our best.

HexisMD's physician-guided peptide protocols restore these signals, unlocking your body's full potential for healing, performance, and anti-aging.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND PEPTIDES

What are peptides and why do they matter?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids, typically between 2 and 50 amino acids long, that act as signaling molecules throughout the body. Unlike hormones that circulate broadly, peptides deliver highly targeted instructions to specific cells and receptors, triggering precise biological responses like tissue repair, growth hormone release, inflammation reduction, and collagen synthesis.

Your body naturally produces thousands of peptides that regulate everything from sleep and immune function to muscle growth and skin health. But as we age, peptide production declines, and so do the repair and optimization processes they control. By the time most adults reach their 40s, growth hormone output has dropped by 50% or more from peak levels.

Peptide therapy reintroduces these signaling molecules at therapeutic levels, essentially reminding your body how to heal, recover, and perform the way it did when you were younger. The result is measurable improvements in recovery speed, body composition, sleep quality, skin health, and overall vitality.

WHAT PEPTIDE THERAPY CAN DO

The benefits of targeted peptide protocols

Check any symptoms you're currently experiencing. If you identify with 3 or more, a hormone evaluation may be your next step.

🔧
Accelerated recovery & healing
Peptides like BPC-157 and TB-500 stimulate collagen synthesis, tissue remodeling, and new blood vessel growth, helping muscles, tendons, and ligaments heal faster than the body can manage on its own.
📈
Increased growth hormone output
Growth hormone secretagogues like Sermorelin and CJC-1295/Ipamorelin stimulate your pituitary gland to release more growth hormone naturally, supporting muscle growth, fat loss, and cellular repair.
🔥
Enhanced fat metabolism
Optimized growth hormone levels shift your body's metabolism toward burning fat for fuel, particularly stubborn visceral fat. Many patients see noticeable body composition changes within 8-12 weeks.
🌙
Deeper, restorative sleep
Growth hormone is primarily released during deep sleep. Peptide therapy enhances both GH output and sleep quality, creating a positive cycle of recovery, repair, and rejuvenation every night.
Anti-aging & skin rejuvenation
Peptides like GHK-Cu promote collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and reduce fine lines. Increased growth hormone levels also support hair health, skin tone, and overall cellular vitality.
Improved performance & endurance
By supporting muscle repair, energy production, and oxygen delivery, peptide therapy helps athletes and active individuals train harder, recover faster, and maintain peak performance longer.
OUR PEPTIDE PROTOCOLS

Peptides we prescribe

Here are some of our popular products. Each peptide serves a specific purpose. Our physicians select and combine them based on your goals, bloodwork, and health history to create your optimal protocol.

Sermorelin
GH OPTIMIZATION
A synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). Stimulates the pituitary gland to produce and release growth hormone naturally. Supports muscle repair, fat metabolism, sleep quality, and anti-aging.
CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin
MOST POPULAR
A powerful combination that works synergistically to amplify growth hormone release. CJC-1295 provides sustained GH signaling while Ipamorelin triggers strong GH pulses with minimal cortisol or prolactin effects.
BPC-157
HEALING & REPAIR
Body Protection Compound-157, derived from a protein found in gastric juice. Known for accelerating the healing of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and gut tissue. Promotes angiogenesis and collagen synthesis for rapid tissue repair.
TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)
RECOVERY
A naturally occurring peptide that promotes cell migration, reduces inflammation, and supports tendon and ligament repair. Often paired with BPC-157 in what's known as the "Wolverine Stack" for comprehensive recovery and tissue regeneration.
PT-141 (Bremelanotide)
SEXUAL WELLNESS
A peptide that works through the central nervous system to enhance sexual arousal and desire in both men and women. Unlike ED medications that work on blood flow, PT-141 addresses the neurological component of sexual function.
GHK-Cu
ANTI-AGING
A copper peptide with powerful anti-aging and skin regeneration properties. Stimulates collagen and elastin production, promotes wound healing, and has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Used topically and via injection.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know about peptides

Every treatment plan at HexisMD is personalized based on your bloodwork, symptoms, life stage, and goals. Here are the tools our physicians use to restore your hormonal balance.

What are peptides and how do they work?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. They bind to specific receptors and trigger targeted biological responses like growth hormone release, tissue repair, collagen production, or fat metabolism. Think of them as precise instructions that tell your body to activate specific healing and optimization processes.

Are peptides safe?

When prescribed by a qualified physician and sourced from licensed compounding pharmacies, peptides have a strong safety profile. Most side effects are mild and include injection site irritation, water retention, or increased hunger. Our team monitors your progress and adjusts protocols as needed. We only prescribe peptides with established safety data and clinical use history.

How are peptides administered?

Most peptides at HexisMD are administered via subcutaneous injection, typically in the abdominal area. The needles are very small (similar to insulin needles) and most patients find the process quick and virtually painless after the first few times. We provide full injection training and supplies with every protocol.

How long until I see results from peptide therapy?

Timeline varies by peptide and goal. Growth hormone peptides like Sermorelin and CJC-1295/Ipamorelin typically show sleep and energy improvements within 2-3 weeks, with body composition changes developing over 8-12 weeks. Healing peptides like BPC-157 often show noticeable recovery improvements within 1-2 weeks. Most protocols run 8-12 weeks.

Can peptides be combined with HRT?

Absolutely. Peptide therapy and hormone replacement therapy complement each other extremely well. Many of our patients use both. For example, a man on TRT might add Sermorelin to optimize growth hormone and BPC-157 for joint recovery. A woman on HRT might add GHK-Cu for skin rejuvenation. We design integrated protocols based on your complete health picture.

Who is a good candidate for peptide therapy?

Peptide therapy can benefit men and women of all ages who are looking to optimize recovery, body composition, sleep, sexual health, or anti-aging. Common candidates include athletes and active individuals, professionals dealing with stress and poor sleep, anyone recovering from injury, and people looking to support overall wellness and longevity.

Are peptides legal?

Yes. The peptides we prescribe are legal prescription medications obtained from licensed compounding pharmacies. It's important to note that the FDA has restricted compounding of certain peptides in recent years. Our medical team stays current on all regulatory changes and only prescribes peptides that are legally available through proper channels.

Do you offer telemedicine for peptide therapy?

Yes. We serve patients across Florida and 45+ states via secure telemedicine. From your initial consultation to follow-up visits, everything can be done from home. We order any necessary bloodwork at a lab near you, review results via video consultation, and ship your prescribed peptides directly to your door.
